Knowing wrenching pain from death’s icy hands,
Akin to the knotting of one’s intestines upon eerie winds of a sad news,
Is what ushers me today into unrelenting victory,
Rooted in the truth, only known by those made free by the truth;
Overseeing, and overturning the footprints of death that surfaced unawares,
Sobbing, sighing, and singing the verve of a great life to be lived.
