Actor Prince David Osei has insisted he should rather be commended and not criticised for his performance as a Master of Ceremonies at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards.
The actor was heavily criticised after some patrons of the event described his presentation skills at the 6th edition of the DJ awards at the Accra International Conference Centre as abysmal.
Many of them argued that for such an experienced actor, his performance should have been much better.
However, Prince David, defending himself told Hitz FM's Daniella Adu Asare, that the event organisers made a lot of last minute changes which could have affected the show.
"Joselyn Dumas got incapacitated and could not host the show. They had to bring Gloria Sarfo and whatever we had rehearsed changed," he said.
The actor believes he rather saved the night by doing his best to deliver under the circumstances and must therefore "be commended".
